Monster of a Book Fair is a little over a week away! Teachers will be letting you know very soon when your child will shop the Fair with their class. The Scholastic flyer with previews of popular books came home this week. 

Important Dates:

• 10/28-11/1: Class Shopping - join your student during their class’ timeslot

• Tues, 10/29 2:30-4:30pm: Family Shopping during Jim ‘N Nicks Spirit Night pick up {ORDER HERE!}

• Wed, 10/30: Grandparents Lunch - 5th, 3rd, 2nd

• Thurs, 10/31: Grandparents Lunch - 4th, K, 1st

We still have many open Volunteer Sign Up slots - we promise it will be a fun time!  We especially need volunteers for setup days and Grandparent Luncheons. As a thank you, all volunteers who sign up for 2+ time slots will receive 10% off their Book Fair purchases.

This year’s event is Friday, October 25th from 4-7pm on the BFES backfields. Don’t miss this year’s event with kickball games, yard games, nacho bar and more!

Our October Spirit Night will be a Jim 'N Nick's Family Meal Kit Pick Up!

Order now and swing through the BFES Carpool line on Tuesday, October 29th from 3-5p to pick up a yummy dinner for your family! You can choose from different meal combinations featuring either pulled chicken or pulled pork and multiple sides! Each kit also comes with buns or cheese biscuits!

Each kit costs $40 and easily feeds 3-4 people!

**Pick Up night will coincide with after school Book Fair shopping so make it an easy night and grab dinner and do Book Fair shopping all in one swoop!

We are excited to announce our Drop Everything and Readathon Fundraiser!

We are asking students & families to collect pledges and send in donations over the next four weeks to support our PTO initiatives at BFES. Individual students, classes, and dens can work toward incentives based on the funds raised.

On Friday, November 8, the whole school will participate in a fun, celebratory reading event: our Drop Everything And Readathon!
