Happy Friday, Bobcat Families!

  • Thank you to the PTO for organizing this afternoon’s casserole kaboom! Every staff member at BFES received a dinner casserole today from the BFES community. Thank you to every parent that donated to this. The day after Halloween has a variety of challenges at an elementary school but receiving the casseroles this afternoon was the opposite of scary! A huge high five to all BFES supporters. You are appreciated and never taken for granted.
  • Thank you to everyone that came to enjoy the Monster Bookfair at BFES and helped make it such a success! Also, thank you to all the parents who volunteered to help decorate, organize and/or run cash registers in the media center. Grandparents’ lunches were a huge success and it is awesome watching all the hugs and kisses from the BFES students to their family members.
  • Tuesday, November 5th is a remote learning day for students. Your child’s teacher will be sending home assignments today with their newsletter for them to work on.
  • Great job to our students and staff with their celebration of Red Ribbon Week!

Book Fair Success!

Thank you for supporting reading and our love of books at BFES! The Monster Book Fair was a huge success - placing more than 4,400 books into the hands of our students and teachers! 

Thank you to our team of amazing volunteers who made this Fall’s fair run smoother than ever. We look forward to seeing everyone in March for the Spring Out of this World Book Fair!

Drop Everything and READATHON!

Our Drop Everything and Readathon Fundraiser is underway and we are currently at $14K of our $20K goal!!

We are asking students & families to collect pledges and send in donations during this last week of the fundraiser to support our PTO initiatives at BFES. Individual students, classes, and dens can work toward incentives based on the funds raised.

On Friday, November 8, the whole school will participate in a fun, celebratory reading event: our Drop Everything And Readathon! This will also be a PAJAMA DAY!
