Happy Holidays, BFES Community!

I truly hope that you have enjoyed semester one here at Birmingham Falls Elementary School. Students return to BFES in 17 days! Good luck, parents! I wish you all the most enjoyable winter break where you can create memories with family and friends. Birmingham Falls will be here waiting for you in 2025!

All K-5 grade students at BFES have an opportunity to showcase their writing talents in the Young Georgia Author’s (YGA) Writing Competition sponsored by the Georgia Department of Education. The YGA does not require a prompt for students to respond to or provide any other boundaries to their genre choice or creativity beyond having a 1,900-word limit (if typed, double-spaced Times New Roman is preferred). Entries may include Short Stories, Poetry, Essays/Literary Criticism/Analysis, Journalism, Academic/Research, Reports, Personal Narratives, Any Other Original Student Writing. All writing entries need to be submitted to your child’s teacher by Thursday, January 30, 2025. If you have any questions, please contact Beth Nation at: nation@fultonschools.org.

Bingo Night Planning!

International Night

International Night is back! Join us February 21st from 4-6p in the BFES Cafeteria.

This is a special night in which families, faculty, and staff gather to learn and honor cultures from different parts of the world!
