Blast Off to Book Fair starts Monday! Your child will have an opportunity to shop the Fair with his/her class. Teachers will let you know the date and time. We welcome parents to shop with their child during classroom shopping.
Additional ways to shop the Fair –
Family Shopping after school until 4:30pm Tuesday, March 18. PTO will also have the Donut NV truck on site for a spirit night selling donuts and hot chocolate until 5:30pm!
Grandparents Lunches on Wednesday, 3/19 (5th/3rd/2nd) & Thursday, 3/20 (4th/K/1st). This is a special opportunity to welcome our grandparents into BFES by first having lunch with their grandchildren in the cafeteria and then shopping at the Book Fair. If you haven’t already reached out to grandparents, we hope that you will.
Accepted payment methods at the Fair –
In lieu of teacher gift certificates, add funds directly to teacher eWallets to allow them to build their classroom library from the Fair as well as Scholastic’s entire online catalog!
Please note that per Scholastic, each purchase made at the Fair will include sales tax and all cash registers will automatically round up purchase totals to the nearest dollar. Funds from the register round up go towards classroom books. If you would like to opt out, have your child let the volunteer cashier know at checkout.
We have open volunteer slots and would love your help - even if you can’t stay for the entire shift. All volunteers who sign up for 2+ time slots will receive 10% off their Book Fair purchases.
