• Morning Announcements. Was your child late and really want to see them?  Was your child interviewed on them? Did your child get a shout out on them? Was there a funny/interesting video shown? The past couple weeks’ announcements are always available here for your viewing pleasure.

• Volunteer Trained, Volunteer Trained, Volunteer Trained:  Please make sure to go to this link to be volunteer trained.  This does not take long and it is painful to turn people away that want help in our school because they are not volunteer trained. You can do it!

DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP

Students at Birmingham Falls participate in digital citizenship instruction as a part of our ongoing commitment to helping students become digital citizens who think critically, participate responsibly, and behave ethically in their online lives.  We partner with Common Sense Education and provide instructional activities that help students harness the potential of digital media while connecting online in a safe, responsible, and respectful way.  Digital citizenship equips students with knowledge, critical thinking skills, and resources to help them succeed as lifelong learners and navigate a technology-driven future.  We believe in engaging families in the important challenges and choices students face in the digital world.  Resources for parents and information about how Fulton County Schools partners with Common Sense Media can be found on the Birmingham Falls website.

Introducing the BFES Sunshine Fund

At Birmingham Falls, we believe in the power of community. The BFES Sunshine Fund is a special initiative driven by the PTO that is designed to support our Bobcat families and staff during life’s ups and downs. Whether we’re celebrating joyful milestones—like a new baby or a big achievement—or offering support during more difficult times, the Sunshine Fund allows our community to come together and show that we care.

How is it funded: A portion of every PTO membership will automatically go toward the Sunshine Fund, helping ensure that no one faces life’s big moments alone. Families and individuals also have the option to make direct contributions to the fund at any time via the PTO Website.

This is just one more way we’re making sure Birmingham Falls feels like home—because Bobcats take care of Bobcats.
