Dear Birmingham Falls Families,

I want to pause from the chaos and share something from the heart. This is my sixth year as part of the Bobcat community. You likely have seen me on campus – I often work the front desk, welcome kids at carpool, volunteer in the STEM lab and at Book Fair and do just about anything I’m asked. I do all of this because I truly love Birmingham Falls and understand the value of this amazing public school. This is my last year, best year for my own 5th grader, and I’m honored to help lead a year that’s all about celebrating our kids, our teachers, and the incredible families who make this school so special. Together, we get to create moments that matter: from the first-day jitters to the big performances, from carpool laughs and classroom milestones. And that’s exactly what the PTO is here for — to support the learning, the fun, and the memories that define being a Bobcat.

You may or may not know that Fulton County Schools provides a base level of financial support to its schools, but that does not cover everything Birmingham Falls provides which sets it apart. Our incredible PTO steps in yearly to bridge that gap. We want the best teachers to continue to choose BFES. The teacher support the PTO provides matters, including the start-up funds for each teacher, the continued support and restocking of supplies and classroom enhancements as well as the meals and treats throughout the year to show our appreciation. Our teachers love BFES; they are happy, smiling, and love your children. I can promise this is not the case at every school.

That’s why we’re turning up the volume at BFES this year and couldn’t be prouder to celebrate our incredible school, amazing students, and dedicated teachers and staff. Led by Principal Webb and our rock-star faculty, our Bobcats prove every day that Birmingham Falls is one of the best schools in Georgia — and we’re ready to honor and amplify that spirit all year long!

We love being part of the Milton/Alpharetta community where our children thrive both inside and outside the classroom. That’s where our PTO’s annual Bobcat Boosters Membership Drive comes in — it’s a powerful way to support your child’s school journey with a yearly donation that will truly make an impact.

Did you know that every year, your PTO provides vital support for curriculum, classrooms, and staff such as:

• 100% fund the BFES STEM lab – which includes supplies and teacher salaries
• Start-up funds for every teacher to set up rockin’ classrooms
• Staff and teacher incentives, meals and appreciation events
• Student and School Enrichments including agendas for grades 2-5, Friday Folders for all students, support of PBIS initiatives such as the Bobcat Leader Lunch and Book Vending Machine

But this year, we’re taking the stage with some brand-new upgrades designed to amplify learning, creativity, and play at BFES. With your support, PTO will:

• Sunshine Fund Launch –A portion of every Bobcat Booster membership will fuel our Sunshine Fund, helping BFES rally around staff and families in moments of celebration and in times of need. From baby baskets to bereavement support, this fund is all about shining light when it’s needed most.
• Rock ’n Roll Restock Cart – keeping classrooms supplied and teachers supported … one request at a time.
• Bobcat Leader Lunches & New Events – recognizing student leaders and creating community-wide moments all year long.

The Bobcat Boosters campaign closes on Tuesday, September 30, and so far, we’re off to a rockin’ start — but we still need our community’s help to hit the big stage. This year, the PTO set a fundraising goal of $115,000 to meet the needs of Principal Webb, our staff, and our Bobcats. Some may feel this goal is ambitious, but neighboring schools consistently raise six figures for their PTO each year — and we know BFES can do the same.

We live in an incredible community of families with great resources, talent, and heart. Let’s not take for granted the treasure we have in our public school.
