THE BOOKANEER BOOK FAIR!

Bookaneer Book Fair is a week away! Teachers will be letting you know when your child will shop the Fair with their class. The Scholastic flyer with previews of popular books came home today.

Important Dates:

  • 9/29-10/3: Class Shopping - join your student during their class’ timeslot

  • Tues, 9/30 2:30-4:30pm: Family Shopping After School

  • Wed, 10/1: Grandparents Lunch - K, 2, 5

Gifting books to teachers is easier than ever! Instead of gift certificates, add funds directly to teacher eWallets to allow them to build their classroom library from the Fair as well as Scholastic’s entire online catalog!

We still need a few volunteers for the Thursday Grandparent Luncheon slot from 12pm-2pm. Sign up here!

We can’t wait to see everyone and thank you for your support!

We are just two weeks away from the Family Favorite event of the year, Bobcat BOO BASH! We have been working hard behind the scenes to debut some new and exciting features of the festival and can't wait to share!

We’re excited to introduce the Fall Market – come shop local vendors from our community! A portion of every sale comes right back to support our school as a fundraiser. Shop small. Support local. Give back big!

Also new to this year is our Bone Scavenger Hunt! 40 Bones will be hidden around the Bobcat BOO Bash carnival for students to be on the hunt for. If they find a bone, they get to turn it in to collect various prizes and school incentives they will love!

Another amazing addition is the opportunity to win one of six phenomenal Raffle Boo Baskets - custom curated by each Grade Level to highlight everything you'd want from local vendors in our community! Thanks in advance to our Room Parents for gathering raffle items for every grade level. Sneak a peak at the themes!

  • Kindergarten: All Things Fall
  • First - Spa and Self Care
  • Second: Money Basket
  • Third: Dine, Drinks, and Derm
  • Fourth: Night Out
  • Fifth: Sports

Can't attend Bobcat Boo Bash? Support BFES and purchase raffle tickets to win virtually! You can select which basket themes you want to add your tickets to and will be entered to win! Winners don't have to be present so let's see those Raffle Ticket Sales soar, Bobcats!

Fulton County Technology Competition 2025-2026

Attention: Any third, fourth, or fifth grader interested in entering the Fulton County Technology Competition

The Fulton County Schools Technology Competition is a regional competition for the Georgia Student Technology Competition. Students in grades 3-12 compete in a variety of categories by entering a student-created technology project. The in-person county technology competition will be on January 10 at North Springs High School. Projects are to be designed and created by the student. Some adult guidance is allowed, but it must be clear that the submitted work was done by the student. Students who win at the district level will compete at state competition. For more information such as categories, rubrics, judging etc., visit the FCS Technology Competition webpage

If your child is interested, please fill out this form before October 5 to be added to the Birmingham Falls Technology Competition email list. The BFES school liaison (Ms. Hilliard) will contact you after October 6 with registration details.
