WE'VE MET OUR NEXT PTO MEMBERSHIP FUNDRAISING GOAL OF $35K!

We've climbed from 40% BFES Family Membership contribution to 58% in the last week! AMAZING! Because of the newest bandwagon memberships, we've achieved our next PTO Fundraising goal of $35K! Mr. Webb & Melissa Morris get to pucker up to kiss a donkey - a promise they made to our students if we met the next goal!

Did you miss the PIE FACE challenge? Watch it here when we met our first goal of $30K.

Our biggest goal above donations is to achieve 100% Family participation.  Join by September 30 to be counted on our Bobcat Tour Roster!

NATIONAL PTO DAY!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who volunteers their time for BFES PTO. Without you, this school year would not be going as SMOOTH as it is! To show our appreciation for you, treat yourself to a Smoothie Treat or anything of your choice from Playa Bowls Crabapple! Use promo code BFESPTO when ordering online for 15% off your order. Offer valid on 9/26 only!

We know volunteering for our school often goes unnoticed but we want you to know that we SEE YOU and all of the hard effort that goes into making BFES the special place that it is. From big to little commitments, we appreciate you!

ARRRGGH YOU READY TO SHOP?!

Bookaneer Book Fair starts Monday! Aaaargh you ready? Your child will have an opportunity to shop the Fair with his/her class. Teachers will let you know the date and time. We welcome parents to shop with their child during classroom shopping.

Additional ways to shop the Fair –

  • Family Shopping after school until 4:30pm Tuesday, September 30.

  • Grandparents Lunches on Wednesday, 10/1 (K/2nd/5th) & Thursday, 10/2 (1st/3rd/4th). This is a special opportunity to welcome our grandparents into BFES by first having lunch with their grandchildren in the cafeteria and then shopping at the Book Fair. If you haven’t already reached out to grandparents, we hope that you will.

Accepted payment methods at the Fair –

In lieu of teacher gift certificates, add funds directly to teacher e-wallets through the links below to allow them to build their classroom library from the Fair as well as Scholastic’s entire online catalog!

Please note that per Scholastic, each purchase made at the Fair will include sales tax and all cash registers will automatically round up purchase totals to the nearest dollar. Funds from the register round up go towards classroom books. If you would like to opt out, have your child let the volunteer cashier know at checkout.

We’re excited to see everyone next week – and thank you for your support!

Fulton County Technology Competition 2025-2026

Attention: Any third, fourth, or fifth grader interested in entering the Fulton County Technology Competition

The Fulton County Schools Technology Competition is a regional competition for the Georgia Student Technology Competition. Students in grades 3-12 compete in a variety of categories by entering a student-created technology project. The in-person county technology competition will be on January 10 at North Springs High School. Projects are to be designed and created by the student. Some adult guidance is allowed, but it must be clear that the submitted work was done by the student. Students who win at the district level will compete at state competition. For more information such as categories, rubrics, judging etc., visit the FCS Technology Competition webpage

If your child is interested, please fill out this form before October 5 to be added to the Birmingham Falls Technology Competition email list. The BFES school liaison (Ms. Hilliard) will contact you after October 6 with registration details.
