SUBJECT: The Bobcat Bulletin - January 23

Here comes the cold!

  • Icy Weather Coming...I Think – It looks like icy weather could be on its way!  Please make sure to monitor your email over the weekend to see what the weather has in store and its potential impact for our school system.  If we receive something, it will likely be by email.  If we do receive something, I will also relay it by text as soon as I am able to do so.  In Friday newsletters, teachers will be proactively sending out remote learning work that can be completed if we are out. For instance, see the attached document for specials assignments. Please do the best you can. However, I am fully aware that snow/ice means playing outside and the possibility of no internet accessibility.  Be safe and have fun this weekend!
  • Your voice matters! Help us create a safe, supportive, and thriving environment for our students by participating in the Georgia School Climate Survey. This was sent by email and texted on Wednesday. This 3–4 minute anonymous survey gathers feedback on our school’s learning environment, safety, relationships, and overall climate. Your insights directly influence decisions to improve programs, policies, and culture—and impact our school's rating with the State of Georgia.  Please complete the survey by March 31, 2025. You can access it HERE
  • Music Bingo – Thank you to all that came for Music Bingo on Wednesday afternoon!  What a neat and unique twist to the typical Bingo Night! Thank you, PTO, for putting it all together for our community! Lots of singing and lots of laughing. I hope we continue to mix things up!

5th grade families, will you have a student at Hopewell next year?

HMS PTA is seeking a committee of five (5) to help fill next year's PTA leadership positions and would love representation from BFES. The need is immediate: can you help from now through March to help recruit for open positions? Our goal is to find representation from all five feeder schools if possible.

Please email info@hopewellmspta.com for more information.
