SUBJECT: The Bobcat Bulletin - May 1, 2026

We made it to May!  14 more days of school!

  • Thank you to all staff, students, and the BFES community for making our testing environment so calm this week.  Remember, there are no volunteers before 10:30am until after Thursday (5/7).
  • May is Mental Health Awareness Month. BFES students and staff will recognize this month by wearing green on Friday, May 8, 2026. By wearing green we are standing together in the message that we love, care and support one another.

Calling all parents of current and incoming Northwestern Middle School students!

At NMS, we love to support our school with copy room volunteers who make copies, laminate, and complete other projects that free up time for our teachers and staff.
We currently have a few openings for regular monthly spots. Volunteers are asked to serve on a set day each month for up to two hours. We have both morning and afternoon shifts. If you are interested in filling one of these spots, please contact Kate Vo (kbuben@gmail.com). This is a really fun volunteer opportunity!
