  • Forgot to order a BFES Yearbook like me every year?  Click here.
  • Medications at School:  As the school year winds down, please don’t forget to pick up and medications or supplies your child may have in the school clinic.  All medication (prescriptions and over the counter) must be picked up by Friday, May 22nd at 12:00pm.  After that, all medications will be discarded as we cannot store medications over the summer.  Mrs. Huffman will be at carpool on the last day of school, and you can grab the medications then if that is more convenient for you.
  • Need BFES School Supplies for next school year?  Visit here and enter code:  65522.  Orders close on May 28th.  Go ahead and get it checked off the list.  These are not refundable.  If you move, you will still be able to pick up your supplies, though.

Dates that Rate at BFES…even for next school year: 

  • Monday, May 18th: Senior Walk in the BFES hallways (8:00am-8:15am).  Senior parents are welcome and encouraged to attend!
  • Monday, May 18th: Career Day (8:15am-10:15am)
  • Wednesday, May 20th: 5th Grade Promotion Celebration starting at 8:00am
  • Thursday, May 21st: Last day of school
  • Friday, July 31st:  Sneak Peek at BFES – Meet your teacher, tour the school, sign-up for afterschool programs, join PTO, get a carpool number (8:30am – 10:30am)
  • Monday, August 3rd: First Day of School for the 2026-2027 school year.
  • Wednesday, August 12th:  Curriculum Night
    • Kindergarten: 5:00pm-5:45pm
    • 2nd Grade: 5:45pm-6:30pm
    • 4th Grade: 6:30pm-7:30pm
  • Thursday, August 13th: Curriculum Night
    • 1st Grade: 5:00pm-5:45pm
    • 3rd Grade: 5:45pm-6:45pm
    • 5th Grade: 6:45-7:45

A Note from PTO President, Melissa Morris

As this school year comes to a close, I’ve found myself reflecting on just how special Birmingham Falls has been to our family. For the past six years, BFES has been more than just a school for Peyton - it has truly been home. It’s where friendships were built, memories were made, and where our family found an incredible community that we will always cherish.

Serving as your PTO President this year has been one of the greatest honors. I am endlessly grateful for the opportunity to support this school, our amazing staff, and our Bobcat families in a role that has meant so much to me personally. Thank you for embracing my endless ideas, supporting the events and initiatives we brought to life, and trusting me to help lead such an extraordinary community. Every spirit day, event, fundraiser, celebration, and crazy idea was made possible because of the support and enthusiasm of this community.

To our incredible staff - thank you for loving our children so well and for creating a place where students feel encouraged, supported, and inspired every single day. Thank you also for allowing both me and the PTO the opportunity to support, celebrate, and pour back into all of you this year. It has been such a joy to find ways - both big and small - to show our appreciation for everything you do for our students and families each and every day.

To our Bobcat families - thank you for your time, generosity, encouragement, and willingness to show up time and time again for our school.

And to my amazing PTO Board - thank you for your dedication, teamwork, countless hours, creativity, and friendship this year. None of this would have been possible without each of you, and I am so proud of everything we accomplished together.

While this chapter may be coming to a close for myself and our family, Birmingham Falls will always hold a very special place in our hearts. I know the year ahead (and then some) is in wonderful hands and that the next PTO Board will continue to serve this community with the same love, passion, and commitment that makes BFES so special.
