I hope everyone has enjoyed their first week of school!
It was great to see you this first week of school and to see so many of you at the Ice Cream Social yesterday! Don’t forget, next week are our Curriculum Nights. See the schedule below in Dates that Rate. Curriculum Night is where parents come to their child’s classroom to learn about what the students are learning this year and the different routines that have been established in the classroom. We are doing this nearly two weeks earlier than past school years at BFES.

Thank you, BFES PTO! Last Thursday, they served us a great Waffle House breakfast with some welcome back gifts as well! Their support and spoiling of us is so appreciated!
Thank you, Dr. Eric Bayliss and Crew Chiropractic & Performance. Last Friday they treated us with a lunch from Chicken Salad Chick! It was a terrific way to end a busy preplanning week! Thank you so much to one of our logistically closest BFES neighbors!
Parent Lunches at school start on Monday, August 17. Thanks for giving us one more week to get our routines in place. If you have lunch with your child in the cafeteria, here are the important things to remember: meet them in the atrium when their class arrives, collect your lunch and then go to the tables on the stage, and please do not sit with the class at their class table or invite any other students to the stage.
Cafeteria Account: Don’t forget to keep money in your child’s account. When they are out of money, they can charge up to three school meals. After that, they are given a cheese sandwich instead of the lunch being served that day. This is new for our school. Check myschoolbucks to stay informed.

Friday, October 9th: Bobcat Bash Celebration in the courtyard. This is carnival themed with bounce houses, games and friends. (4:00pm-6:00pm)
