Good Day, BFES Fans!

• Congratulations to fourth grader, Fletcher Moore, on winning first place in our Scripps School Spelling Bee last month! We are super proud of him and excited he will represent our school in the district bee. The Fulton County School District Scripps Spelling Bee qualifier will be held this Saturday. Good luck, Fletcher!
• Birmingham Falls was selected as the i-Ready Super School for Zone 7 for the month of January. We were selected because we had the highest percentage of students who increased their grade level placement on the Math i-Ready Middle of Year Diagnostic. 55% of our student population increased their i-Ready Placements. Way to go, Bobcats! Keep up the awesome work!
• Lost and Found: Please write your child’s first and last name in their jackets, hats, gloves and sweatshirts. We look through the lost and found once a week to return items with student names in them.

• March 18th – Father Daughter Dance (6pm to 9pm)
• April 3rd through April 7th : SPRING BREAK - No School
• May 1st through May 12th – Georgia Milestones Testing (grades 3-5)
• May 16th – Field Day (K – 2nd …8am - 10am; 3rd – 5th …10:30am - 12:30pm)
• May 16th – High School Senior Walk at BFES (1:15 – 1:45) **date change

This time we are teaming up with Savory Gourmet to give the choice of 3 casseroles {penne vodka, baked ziti, and lasagna bolognaise} served with a salad.  Order by Feb 5th, then just hop in the carpool line between 4-6p on Feb 15th for the easiest dinner ever!
